I just joined the brokerage. How do I move my deals and listings over?

When you join simpliHŌM, any Active Agreements and Pending Transactions that your previous brokerage approves to move need to be set up in our systems. You’ll do this through dotloop, HŌMhq, and your local MLS.

At simpliHŌM, we use these definitions:

  • Active Agreements: Listings, buyer representation agreements, and signed referral agreements that are not currently under a purchase/sale contract
  • Pending Transactions: Listings and buyers that are currently under a purchase/sale contract

1. Confirm what can be transferred

First, confirm with your previous brokerage and your local MLS that they allow the transfer of any Active Agreements and Pending Transactions to simpliHŌM. Only proceed with the items they approve to release.

2. Add your agreements and transactions to dotloop

All simpliHŌM business must be in dotloop.

  • Create a new loop for each Active Agreement and Pending Transaction
  • Choose the correct loop type (buying, selling, referral, commercial, etc.)
  • Once you select the loop type, you’ll see the required simpliHŌM forms for that kind of deal

3. Submit Pending Transactions through HŌMhq

For any Pending Transactions (under contract deals) that are being transferred to simpliHŌM with your previous broker’s approval:

  • Submit them in HŌMhq using the “Submit My Deal” button

For any new transactions that go under contract after you join simpliHŌM:

  • Submit them within 24 hours of going under contract using “Submit My Deal.”

Note: If the transaction is submitted less than two days before scheduled closing, a $99 service fee will be deducted from your commission disbursement.

4. Re-list your listings under simpliHŌM

For any listing Active Agreements your previous broker has released:

  • Re-list the property under simpliHŌM in your MLS
  • Use a new Exclusive Right to Sell Agreement with simpliHŌM as the broker and you as the service provider/agent on that agreement
  • If applicable in your state, make sure any buyer representation or referral agreements are also updated to name simpliHŌM as the brokerage

5. Update the MLS and follow local rules

Update the brokerage on your listings in the MLS to simpliHŌM and make sure any required disclosures are in place (for example, “Coming Soon” or “Owner/Agent” if they apply).

Always follow your local MLS and advertising rules for your market.

6. Confirm MLS access with your Broker

simpliHŌM requires you to be associated with the correct MLS and REALTOR® association for your area.

Work with your Broker to confirm your MLS access is fully set up before you re-list or update properties or submit new deals.
