What happens to my active buyer agreements when I move to simpliHŌM?

Active buyer agreements are buyers who have signed a Buyer Representation Agreement with you, but are not yet under contract on a specific property. When you move to simpliHŌM, these must be handled according to your local MLS rules and the terms of your ICA with your previous brokerage.

If your previous broker agrees to let those buyers move with you, you’ll need their approval to bring those buyer relationships to simpliHŌM. In that case, the Buyer Rep Agreement with your old brokerage should be canceled, and a new Buyer Agreement should be created under simpliHŌM before you continue working with that client.

It’s common for a previous brokerage to request a referral fee in exchange for releasing those buyer clients. If that happens, make sure the referral terms are documented and shared with simpliHŌM so they can be honored at closing.

If your previous broker does not release the Buyer Agreement, you must respect that decision and not interfere with that client relationship. simpliHŌM will not attempt to intervene or override a decision made by your previous broker.

If you have questions at any point, reach out to your Broker or email support@simplihom.com for step-by-step help.
